2. What you book
Blau courses are offered together with accommodation in a private studio in the same building: course and studio form one programme. Stays run from Sunday to Sunday, with check-in from 16:00 on the Sunday before your course and check-out by 12:00 on the Sunday after it ends. Extra nights, such as a Saturday arrival, are possible on request and subject to availability.
Students travelling on their own must be 18 or over. Younger students can join only when they come with a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
For groups, schools and companies, Admissions prepares a separate quotation with its own conditions.
3. Prices
Prices are those published on this website on the day you book, in euros, with VAT included. There is no tourist tax. Each booking also includes a registration fee of €150 and a final cleaning fee of €35, charged once.
Weeks between 1 January and 31 May carry a peak-season supplement of €50 per week. A refundable damage deposit of €300 is paid separately and returned after check-out if the studio is left in the condition you received it.
The estimates on this website are for information. The quote you receive from Admissions confirms availability and is the price you pay.
4. Booking and payment
Your booking is confirmed when you have paid the full price. Places are not held without payment, including for stays of a month or longer. Bookings made through our online booking engine are also subject to the conditions shown there at the time of booking.
5. Cancellation
If you cancel, we refund part of the course and accommodation depending on how far ahead you tell us, counted from your arrival date:
| When you cancel | Refund of course and accommodation |
|---|---|
| More than 90 days before arrival | 100% |
| 61 to 90 days before | 75% |
| 31 to 60 days before | 30% |
| 30 days or less | No refund |
The registration fee is not refundable. To cancel or change your dates, write to Admissions. Date changes depend on availability.
6. Classes
- Before you travel you take an online placement test, and you join a group at your level.
- Groups have twelve students at most. When a group has fewer than five students, Blau may reduce the teaching hours. This applies to every programme.
- There are no classes on public holidays, and those classes are not made up.
- Casual 5 is practical Spanish outside the level pathway and does not promise a new level.
7. Certificate
Students who attend at least 80% of their classes receive an end report and a Blau certificate with their dates, hours and level. It is not an official qualification, such as a DELE diploma. With Casual 5, the certificate records participation and hours.
8. Your studio and the building
The Residence Rules on visitors, quiet hours and shared spaces are handed over at check-in and apply to every student. You can read them in advance at blaustudenthousing.com/blau-rules.
9. Activities
Many activities are part of the course experience. Some may require payment for admission, transport or refreshments; each event says so.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you book as a consumer, you keep the protection of the consumer law of your country of residence and can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
11. Internal reporting channel
Lenox Meridian, S.L. has an internal information system for reporting breaches of law. You can find it at blaustudenthousing.com/siif.
